THESE ARE THE JK TRACK BAR BOLTS YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!
It's common knowledge that the factory track bar bolts on 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK's were the poorest fitting, undersized, most inappropriate bolts for the purpose. Death wobble and shredded track bar bushings has been the result for many using the factory bolts.
These bolts are meant to solve all of the issues with the factory track bar bolts to get the best fit possible. They also are a far better fit than any other aftermarket track bar bolts for JK's that's currently out there.
Many other aftermarket bolts were an improvement over the factory bolts but still fell short of what they should be. Other kits bolts are too short, only 3", leaving a large amount of threads in contact with the bushings which was a huge problem with the factory bolts to start. They also are all too short to use with aftermarket track bar/sector shaft braces which are a common upgrade on JK's and also often include undersized M14 bolts with the kits. So if you are adding a track bar brace get a set of these appropriately sized bolts to go with it.
These bolts are 9/16" fine thread. They maximize the shoulder area in contact with the bushings and they minimize the thread contact to the lowest possible amount for the most perfect fit you can get. We sell them in 4 different sets so you can choose the set that will give you the best fit possible. The bolts are Grade 8 hardened, yellow zinc plated. They include Grade 8 hardened, yellow zinc plated washers and Grade 8 hardened zinc plated stover lock nuts. The quality of each component is the best that is available.
SET 1 fits: 2007-2018 JK front (without a track bar brace) or rear on all. This set includes (2) 3.5" long bolts.
SET 2 fits: 2007-2018 JK front with a track bar brace on the frame side. This set includes (1) 3.5" long bolt for the axle side and (1) 4" long bolt for the frame side.
SET 3 fits: 2012-2018 JK front with the factory track bar. The factory track bar bushing on the frame side is 14mm on these years only. If you are still using the factory front track bar this is the set you need. This set includes (1) 3.5" long 9/16" bolt for the axle side and (1) M14 80mm bolt for the frame side. NOTE: MOST AFTERMARKET TRACK BARS FOR 2012-2018 USE A 9/16" BUSHING. IF YOU ARE USING AN AFTER MARKET TRACK BAR YOU PROBABLY NEED SET 1. It's also important to note on this set that we didn't cheap out on the M14 bolt. All other aftermarket track bar bolt sets include an 8.8 Class zinc plated course thread bolt for this purpose. Our bolt is 10.9 Class (metric equivalent to Grade 8) hardened, yellow zinc plated and fine thread.
SET 4 fits: 2012-2018 JK front with the factory track bar and a track bar brace on the frame side. The factory track bar bushing on the frame side is 14mm on these years only. If you are still using the factory front track bar this is the set you need. This set includes (1) 3.5" long 9/16" bolt for the axle side and (1) M14 90mm bolt for the frame side. NOTE: MOST AFTERMARKET TRACK BARS FOR 2012-2018 USE A 9/16" BUSHING. IF YOU ARE USING AN AFTER MARKET TRACK BAR YOU PROBABLY NEED SET 2. *** SET 4 is the most unlikely scenario since most people adding a track bar brace will also be upgrading their track bar but we are carrying this option for those that do need it***
About rear track bar drop brackets on the axle side: SET 1 will fit the rear in any year and configuration. The bolts are long enough to be used with drop brackets as well. So if you're lift came with junk bolts get a set of these to use instead.
***The torque spec is 130 ft/lbs dry for all of these. If you are using thread locker, which is not needed since these use lock nuts, anti-seize or any other lubricant you must reduce the torque by at least 20% to account for the extra lubrication***
***The front frame side bolt should be installed back to front so the nut is facing the front of the Jeep***
***The rear axle side bolt may go front to back or back to front depending on the configuration. Some drop brackets may put the bolt in position where it interferes with the coil spring if installed back to front. If this is the case, reverse the bolt so the head is on the spring side. This may require drooping the axle or compressing the spring***
